The error log that scores: four questions per mistake
Most candidates log a mistake and never return to it. An error log only pays off when you classify the nature of the error.
The four questions
- What was the question actually asking?
- Where exactly did my reasoning break?
- Was it content, reading, calculation or time?
- What do I do differently next time?
Weekly review
Look only at the error-nature column. If 40% of your misses are reading errors, more algebra will not help.
